RAW Music is an NGO founded in 2018 with activities similar to an export office for Romanian artists (as there was no official music export office in Romania), facilitating the establishment of links between Western territories and Central and Eastern European countries and access Romanian musicians in major European showcase festivals.

As a result of the sustained activity supporting music export in Romania, RAW Music becomes a member of the European Music Exporters Exchange (EMEE), the European association of music export offices, in 2023.

RAW Music is the main organiser of the Mastering the Music Business (MMB) international music business conference & showcase festival that takes place annually in Bucharest, since 2016.

Shortly after its establishment, RAW Music became a partner of international projects, co-funded by Creative Europe, aimed at supporting artists and professionals in the music industry in Europe by increasing their mobility and capacity building, such as HEMI, MEWEM or EEMA.
