Eastern European Music Academy — a hybrid capacity-building project aimed at advancing the careers of independent music professionals from Bulgaria, Czechia, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, and Ukraine.
It consists of Library of useful materials, which you can find on our website, and a seasonal hybrid educational course, which takes place four times a year. The second round will include:
- 12 weeks of online workshops and practical assignments with TOP European and UK experts, so you can smartly navigate the current music business
- The supportive and diverse student community of 50+ musicians and managers from 11+ European countries, which might be your way for first cooperations and international expansion
- Direct access to TOP level European and UK music business practitioners, who can be your door openers or first useful contact to expand your career to the international level
- Fully covered alumni trip to MENT Ljubljana showcase and conference for the best students of the course to meet a wider music community and build the foundation for your further growth
In 2023 the first round of EEMA hosted 60+ students from 12 European countries (more than expected!) and planned an alumni trip to Mastering the Music Business conference in Romania.
The project runs with the financial support of the Stabilisation Fund for Culture and Education 2022 of the Federal Foreign Office of Germany and the Goethe-Institut and Creative Europe program of the EU.
